I have a Fender Deluxe American Ash Stratocaster. It may or may not have a V neck. It has active electronic Fishman Piezo shit in the bridge, which I think is defective. I got it used (4 months after the guy purchased it) for a very good deal, in near perfect condition.
I have a Spider II. It basically sucks. For most things, atleast.
I have a Alesis Wildfire60, my first amp. Solid state and shitty, it does have it's own personality.
I have an Epiphone Special II from 2004. It came with chrome hardware and a Gibson truss rod cover, so it's MUCH prettier than most Special II's. It plays incredibly well for a 200 dollar guitar, and I treasure it.
I got a Takamine EG334 for around 800, including the hardshell case. It's the best acoustic I've ever played, with the POSSIBLE exception of a Breedlove I played at GC.
I recently got an Epiphone Valve Junior class A tube amp. It's pretty awesome. I use an Ibanez TS-808 Reissue Tubescreamer, a Dunlop 535Q Crybaby wah, a Danelectro Fish & Chips EQ, and a Danelectro Fab Echo.
I have never -practiced- guitar. I play. I noodle. I improv. I am occasionally bothered to learn a new song. Generally, I almost never attempt to learn a song that is difficult to learn. I have learned songs that were difficult for me a few times, but generally, no. I learned to alternate pick some time ago, messing around with Dick Dale's Misirlou, and this has lead me to develop this technique to improve my leads.
My best playing is improv when I'm jamming to music.
Recordings should not be taken very seriously, as I do not myself take them very seriously. Little effort was put into their creation, and our microphone is of a low quality. Sound clips are limited to one minute. Sometime in the future, I will get the equipment to put up decent clips. Cheers.
